Native Customer Accounts

Their account.
Right inside
the wishlist.

Order history, fulfilment status, store credit, buy it again, and saved collections — surfaced right inside the widget your customers already use. No redirect to Shopify's account page, no separate login.

  • Recent orders with live fulfilment status
  • Store credit balance, always visible
  • One-click reorder and saved collections
How it works

Their whole account,
without leaving the drawer.

1
Customer opens the wishlist
The same drawer they already use to save items — now with an Accounts tab alongside it.
2
Signs in once
Shopify handles authentication. Fish Wishlist reads directly from Shopify's own customer data — no separate login to build or maintain.
3
Sees everything at a glance
Recent orders with live fulfilment status, store credit balance, saved collections, and their own details — one screen, no digging.
4
Reorders in one click
Buy it again re-adds a past order straight to cart. No hunting back through order history to find what they bought last time.
What's included

Everything a customer account should show.

No plan upgrade required. Starter, Lightning, and Trade all include Native Customer Accounts.

Know before they ask

Order History & Fulfilment Status.

Recent orders, right inside the drawer — order number, date, total, item count, and a live fulfilment status pill. No support ticket asking "where's my order," because the answer is already on screen.

  • Recent orders pulled directly from Shopify — no separate database
  • Live fulfilment status on every order, not just "placed"
  • Order total, item count, and thumbnails included
  • Line items inline, so opening an order costs no extra request
Balance, always visible

Store Credit.

Customers see their store credit balance the moment they open the drawer — not buried three clicks deep in a Shopify account page they've never seen before. Formatted in their own currency, pulled live.

  • Balance shown in the customer's presentment currency
  • Reads directly from Shopify's store credit accounts
  • No balance shown if the customer has no store credit account
One-click reorder

Buy It Again.

A past order goes straight back into the cart with one click — no re-searching for the product, no re-picking the variant. The easiest repeat purchase you'll ever offer.

  • Re-adds a whole past order to cart in one click
  • Works straight from the Recent Orders list
  • Customer never leaves the drawer to reorder
Not just single products

Saved Collections.

Customers save entire collections or brands, not just one product at a time. It sits alongside their account details and syncs to your marketing stack, so you know which ranges each customer is watching.

  • Save whole collections or brands from the storefront
  • Accessible from the same Accounts tab as orders and credit
  • Syncs to Klaviyo or any platform Shopify Flow can reach

Live by default.
Switch over in two minutes.

Native Customer Accounts ships with Drawer 2.0 — enabled by default for any new store. Already running the classic wishlist widget? Switching takes about two minutes in the Theme Editor.

FAQ

Accounts questions, answered.

Which plan includes Native Customer Accounts? +
All of them, including the free Starter plan. Order history, fulfilment status, store credit, buy it again, and saved collections come with every Fish Wishlist install — no upgrade required.
How does this work with Shopify's own customer account portal? +
Fish Wishlist's Accounts tab surfaces the info customers use most — orders, store credit, buy it again, saved collections — directly inside the wishlist widget, without leaving your site. Shopify's native account portal still exists in the background for anything not covered here. Customers can still access it, they just no longer have to.
Why not just send customers to Shopify's account page? +
Shopify's native account portal opens as a separate page outside your storefront — different design, different domain in some cases — and it pulls the customer out of your site and your branding. Fish Wishlist keeps them on your store.
Does this replace Shopify customer accounts? +
No. It's a native layer on top of Shopify customer accounts — all the same data (orders, store credit, etc.) just surfaced inside your storefront instead of forcing a redirect.
Do I need to set anything up in Shopify for this to work? +
No extra setup beyond having Shopify customer accounts enabled (new customer accounts). Fish Wishlist reads directly from Shopify's own data.

Give customers the account page
