The problem

Most wishlist apps stop
at the browser tab.

Customer saves eight items at home. Drives to your store. Staff has no idea. Repeat it ten times a day across your shop floor and you're leaving sales on the table — not because the demand wasn't there, but because the information didn't travel.

Fish Wishlist stores everything in Shopify customer metafields. That means wishlist data lives inside Shopify's own data layer — accessible wherever Shopify is. Including POS.

No separate sync. No webhook. No extra app. The same wishlist a customer built on their phone at midnight is on your POS screen when they walk in the door.

How it works

Three steps to a better in-store experience.

1
Customer saves online
Adds items to their wishlist from home, on mobile, or by scanning QR codes in-store. Everything syncs to their Shopify customer profile automatically.
2
Staff opens POS
Customer walks in. Staff pulls up their customer profile in Shopify POS. The wishlist is right there — every item the customer saved, with variants and prices.
3
Help. Recommend. Sell.
Staff knows exactly what the customer came for, finds it in-store, adds it to cart from POS. A warm, assisted sale that would have been cold without it.
What's included

POS features on every plan.

No plan upgrade required. Free plan, Lightning, and Trade all include POS access.

Wishlist in POS

Staff access any customer's wishlist from their Shopify POS customer profile. View all saved items, add to cart, and process the sale — without switching apps or asking the customer to pull out their phone.

Scan to Save

Print "Add to Wishlist" QR codes on product labels. Customers scan with their phone's camera — item saves to their wishlist instantly. No app download, no login required if guest wishlists are enabled.

POS Orders Captured

Every order placed via Shopify POS is captured in Fish Wishlist's previously-purchased tracking. Use this to power "Buy Again" sections, re-purchase campaigns via Shopify Flow, or simply know what a customer has bought in-store.

In-store product labels

Every product label
is a save button.

Print QR codes directly on your product labels. When a customer scans one, it opens your store and saves that product variant to their wishlist in one tap. No app. No account needed (if guest wishlists are on).

The URL format is simple:

https://yourdomain.com/?fvid=<variantid>&opendrawer=true

Export your variant IDs from Shopify, generate QR codes with any bulk tool, and print. Need help generating them in bulk? We'll do it for you.

Email support@nativeappco.com and we'll handle the bulk generation.

Who it's for

Three ways merchants
use it in-store.

Use case 01

Gift Registries

Customers build their gift registry online, share the link with family. When a relative walks into the store, staff pulls up the registry in POS, finds the right items, and processes the sale. No paper lists. No miscommunication.

Use case 02

Trade Showrooms

B2B buyers visit a showroom and scan QR codes on products they want to order. By the time the meeting ends, their wishlist is full. Back at the office, they submit it as a quote request — and you already have a draft order waiting.

Use case 03

VIP & Repeat Customers

Your best customers always have a wishlist. Staff greets them by name, opens their profile in POS, and already knows what they've been eyeing. The conversation starts warm. The conversion rate goes up.

POS features are included on every plan — including the free Starter plan.

No upgrade required to use wishlists in Shopify POS.
FAQ

POS questions, answered.

Does it work with Shopify POS Go and POS Pro? +
Yes. Fish Wishlist works with both Shopify POS Go and POS Pro. Staff access customer wishlists from within the Shopify POS app on any supported device. No additional hardware or software is needed beyond what you already use for POS.
Does the customer need an account to use wishlists in-store? +
For staff to pull up a customer's wishlist in POS, the customer needs to be in Shopify's customer database. If they built a guest wishlist online, it syncs to their customer profile the moment they log in. QR codes work for any customer — logged in or guest — as long as guest wishlists are enabled in your settings.
Do QR codes require Shopify POS? +
No. QR codes work completely independently of Shopify POS. Any customer can scan a product label QR code with their phone's camera and save the item to their wishlist. No POS, no app download, no account required. The QR code just opens your store and triggers the wishlist save automatically.
What plan includes POS features? +
POS features — including staff wishlist access and QR code scanning — are available on all Fish Wishlist plans, including the free Starter plan. There is no plan upgrade required.
